How The Surcharge is Calculated
In assessing this surcharge, we will multiply the
shipped weight by .895 (89.5%) to account for the packaging and non
brass portion of the shipment. That figure will then be multiplied times the
$1.37 per pound surcharge factor to determine the actual total surcharge. The
surcharge will show as a separate line item on the invoice.

differential between 2/22/06 and 2/22/08 brass price.
